Terms of Use

Last updated 23 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Davfalcon Company LLC for using Nornas. By using the app you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

Nornas is a reminder, not a financial adviser. The figures it shows are estimates built from what you entered and what your bank reports. They are there to help you anticipate, not to be relied on as a record of your finances. Always check your bank and your bills before acting. Nothing in Nornas is financial, tax, investment or legal advice.

What Nornas does

Nornas keeps track of bills, paydays and reminders and shows what is coming. Optionally it can read dated entries from your Calendar and Reminders, share an entry with another person, and connect to a bank to suggest recurring payments. Most of what it knows stays on your device. See the Privacy Policy.

Your account

Most of Nornas works without an account. Sharing and bank connections require signing in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple Account secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.

You must be at least 13, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Subscriptions and payment

Nornas is free. A subscription is needed only to connect a bank, because a live bank connection costs us money every month it exists.

If your subscription lapses, we close any bank connection you hold, usually within a day. Everything else in Nornas keeps working, and nothing you entered is deleted.

Bank connections

Not available yet. This section takes effect when bank connections ship; until then nothing in it applies.

Bank connections are provided by Plaid Inc. and are subject to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy. You authorise us to use Plaid to access information from the accounts you choose. We never see your bank credentials.

Nornas can hold up to three bank connections per account. It never moves money, never initiates a payment, and never has the ability to do either.

Information that reaches Nornas from your bank may be incomplete, delayed or wrong, because it comes from your bank through Plaid, and neither we nor Plaid control what your bank reports.

What you may not do

We may suspend or end your access if you do any of this.

Your content

What you put into Nornas is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store an entry you chose to share, and to show it to the people you shared it with.

When you share something, the other person can see it. We cannot make them forget it, and removing it later does not undo what they have already seen.

Our rights

Nornas, its source code, its design and its name belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, and nothing more.

Test builds

If you received Nornas through TestFlight, you have a pre-release version. It is unfinished by definition: features may change or disappear, figures may be wrong, and we may reset server data between versions, which would remove anything you had shared. Nothing on your device is touched by that.

A test build is provided for evaluation and feedback. Please do not rely on it, and please do keep using your bank and your bill providers as the source of truth. Everything below about disclaimers and liability applies to it with particular force.

Availability

We do our best to keep Nornas working, but we do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of faults. We may change or withdraw features. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and a way to get your data out.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, Nornas is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant that any figure, date, estimate or suggestion in Nornas is accurate or complete. Nornas cannot know about money you spend outside it, and its projections are only as good as what you entered. Missing a payment, or acting on a figure that turned out to be wrong, remains your responsibility.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, missed payments, late fees, overdraft charges, interest, or damage to your credit, arising out of or connected with your use of Nornas.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes those away.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of Nornas or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to anything caused by us.

Ending this agreement

You may stop using Nornas at any time, and delete your account in Account. We may end your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. The sections on our rights, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts of the State of Florida, United States have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may bring proceedings in your own country and the mandatory consumer law of your country still applies.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Nornas after that means you accept the new terms.
